"HOW TO" TIPS
HOW TO POST A MESSAGE VIA E-MAIL:
You can set your preferences to allow you to post to the blog by simply sending an e-mail to an address linked to the blog. To do this, go to your personal "Dashboard" (you can always do this by clicking the Blogger icon at the top left corner of the blog main page), click on "Change Settings", then the "Settings" tab, then the "Email" tab.
On that same page you can also select to receive an email whenever someone posts to the blog.
Awesome!

HOW TO UPLOAD A PHOTO TO THE BLOG:A lot of you are wondering how I uploaded my pictures. I've felt really cool so far because I'm like the only one who can do it (God's compensation for my bowling skills deficit). Still, God would have me share the little I know with you, so you too can join in on the fun. It's easy!
If you want to send a pic to someone by email, you just attached it, right? Well, most blog sites DON'T work like that. Blogger assumes that any pictures you want to show are already on the internet, and wants you to paste a link to the website where the picture can be found.
"HOW DO I PUT MY PICTURES ON THE INTERNET?"
I use photobucket.com, which is a free picture hosting site that's easy to use. Just sign up for a new account and follow the directions (if you have questions, ask me).
ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR PICTURE(S) ONLINE--
Photobucket conveniently spells out the whole link to each photo you have, below the thumbnail of the photo in your photobucket page. All you have to do is copy, and then paste the link into your HTML composer window in Blogger. You can type around it, above it, and below it, just as long as the address for the pic remains intact with no breaks or spaces.
IMPORTANT: Photobucket gives you three options below each thumbnail to pick from, as far as copying the address goes:
(1) URL, which is the straight address. This should look familiar to you, since you see these in the spam emails I send to you.
(2) TAG, which adds a few characters of HTML code to tell Blogger to show the actual picture, and NOT the text link. This is the one you'll use.
(3) IMG, which adds code similar to HTML, but is used for online forums/messageboards, if you're familiar with those.
Don't let all this scare you; once you get it, it's really easy. If you compose your blog posts in the "composer" tab, instead of the "HTML" tab, you may be able to click on the little framed picture icon to paste the straight url into a field there so blogger can add the tag info for you. I hope this helps. If you have any questions, post a comment here or email me.
